Unbelievable day with Bottom’s Up Fishing Charters! Captain Justin Gay and his first mate, John, put us right on the fish—including an incredible 26” snapper! They know these waters inside and out, kept lines tight all day, and even filleted our entire catch for us at the dock. We're already looking forward to our next trip with them!

Great trip. Captain Gay put us on fish right away and was extremely knowledgeable. John was very adept at keeping the bait on and helping with the younger fishermen in our crew. We’re all experienced fishermen so we had high expectations and those were definitely met. Would definitely schedule another trip with Captain Gay and Bottoms Up.

Cpt Justin is a knowledgeable guide that truly loves taking people out to fish... as I prolific angler myself it was very evident that he will take that knowledge and do what needs to be done to get into fish. Just a great day.

Trip - Half Day or Full Day Offshore Fishing Charter in Vero Beach for Cobia and Mahi mahi on September 30, 2025

Captain Justin and his mate were absolutely great! They had us on mahi pretty quickly as we made our way offshore. Ended up with a total of 7 mahi before the storms drove us back towards port. We stopped before going in and did some bottom fishing that also went great! Ended up bringing in 5 short cobia (nice size on the fish, just not big enough to keep), a nurse shark, several trigger fish, some lane snapper, blue runners and some other randoms (soap fish!). The trip was for my 12 year old son's birthday and we could not have asked for a better trip. Absolutely would recommend!

Had to switch to inland due to hurricane .still had a great time . Heading back to the area next August and will due trip with Justin again

It was my wife’s first time deep sea fishing and we had a great trip. Captain Justin knew what he was doing and we caught 6 king fish on a half day trip. I would highly recommend booking with him.

We had a fabulous day. It was definitely a day of catching. The guys kept our lines baited and shared tips to make our day a success. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting a great day of fishing.

Had the most fantastic day fishing alongside the Bottoms Up crew! We managed to reel in 2 Cobia, 1 Strawberry Grouper, 9 Lane Snappers, and a whopping 4 big triggers. The vibe was so comfortable, it felt like we were out with our own family. Capt. Justin, Tami, Tawny, and Dalton were like kin we never knew we had. And to top it off, we wrapped up the day with an amazing hook and cook feast over at the Green Marlin.

It was an awesome experience overall. Both of us were new to deep sea fishing, and Capt. Justin along with his son and deckhand, Dalton, put in a lot of effort to get us some good catches - and they nailed it. We're definitely up for doing it again! I and we have taken alot of charters in Brevard county none of which come close to Justin’s level of professionalism and hard work. He always has one goal in mind and that’s to make his clients happy and catch fish! We have taken our kids out and he is more than willing to help young children as well as share his skills and knowledge with adult fishermen and fisherwomen!! We would not consider going out with any other charter Justin is the best!!
